Gospel Singer 'Yolanda Adams' Corrals ‘Millionaire Friends’ to Help Hurricane Harvey Victims.

“Through the Storm” singer Yolanda Adams is helping Houston residents through the aftermath of Storm Harvey.

According to the Houston-based radio personality, she has tapped into her extensive network of “millionaire friends” to be a blessing to displaced hurricane survivors.

“Thanks so much for your support and prayers. We've given out over $100K of Simply Yolanda to the folks displaced by the storm,” wrote The AMAZING 102.5FM host of The Yolanda Adams Morning Show which airs weekdays from 6-10 a.m. EST.

Simply Yolanda is the multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning singer’s business umbrella that sells an array of goods, including coffee, and bath and beauty products. It operates out of Houston, which Adams says is “one of the most multicultural, multi-business, and multifaceted cities pretty much in the world.”

“I've housed people, fed them and prepared food for First Responders. As with Katrina, this will be a year-long mission to make lives better,” continued the 56-year-old in Sunday’s Facebook update.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said damage from Hurricane Harvey, which came ashore Aug. 25, would likely reach $150-$180 billion. It is the most powerful hurricane to strike Texas in 50 years.

Adams, who launched the donation drive by corralling wealthy colleagues, has teamed with AngelHeart Productions and Voice of An Angel Foundation.

The charitable songstress says more information is coming soon on how everyone can help out.
